I'm horrable about updating this thing.
But I had warned you all about that when I started this thing. So I suppose that you would like an update of my somewhat boring life.
As many of you already know, campus seems to have become a ground for muggers who think that the average Hamline student is richer than they actually are. So now we get to have undercover police wandering the campus because of the increase in muggings. Hopefully they can catch these idiots.
Now to rant about my coworkers. Out of the last work week I worked, I worked 3 days of it by myself. Saturday was a pain in the royal butt. I was on the run from 7am till 11am trying to help people, mostly the Admissions group putting on an event for high school juniors. Also, I had plans during the shift that I asked vacation for, and my partner didn't show up so I could. I am still pissed at her.
But on a lighter note, I am now a professional football player. Well, not officially yet but I have a contract to sign and a practice schedule which were my criteria for knowing that I am on the team. I know some of you might be going, "what about hockey". Well I saw the call for tryouts in the paper and thought why not. So I tried out on April 22 and I impressed the coach enough. I will be an offensive and defensive lineman for the Minnesota Vixen Women's Professional Football team. For all of you who live in the Cities area, please come to the games if you can. I know some of you do not like to watch sports, but the support would be great. There is a schedule on the team website www.minnesotavixen.com or you can ask me when you see me.
