I'm still alive. School has started, and I feel woefully inept and undertrained, but I am getting through each day and having more good ones than bad ones. I will see how I feel at the end of term. Got a couple of challenging (read: naughty) kids, and a couple with learning disabilities (dyslexia, serious language disorders etc etc) which makes things hard because of course I have no idea on how to help these kids.
But, each day at a time.
Since you are here, go and click this link and listen to Westgate. I heard this for the first time last year when I saw Mark Seymour in November. It gave me goosebumps then (front row) and still does now. It's different from what I generally listen to and maybe that's why it's struck me so. Either way, can't wait for some more Melbourne tour dates and the new album.
