4th time I've gone searching the house...
for a robber with a gun was this morning. It was the Smith & Wesson M&P9's first foray in the house. Before I had been using the S&W .357 I've had for several years.
So, I thought I saw a flashlight outside the bedroom window. So, I grabbed the 9mm from my safe, and headed downstairs. Now, some people will say that 9mm is not a personal defense caliber. I have 17 rounds. I think I can do enough damage with 17 rounds to be a legit defense weapon. More, smaller holes vs. the .357 5 hollow-point rounds.
Anyway, searched the house, nothing. Good. Look outside, and the garage is open. I don't recall leaving it open last night - and unfortunately didn't have time to search for missing items this morning. Will do that when I get home.
Either way, consider this a PSA. Don't enter my house uninvited in the middle of the night.
