last post of the year
well, its been a funny old year, lots of high's some low's, many a wedding attended (minimal blubbing and shedding of tears too on my part!) and things are about to tick over to 2008
2008
how come its come about so fast? It really doesnt seem like a year ago that I was merrily zooming along to head over to teh havens for a xmas/new year bash. Mum has a book of resolutions, and this last year has just gone by so fast that I hadnt even had time to consider what my resolutions were going to be, let alone meet any of them!
I guess 2007 hasnt been a bad year, all in all, its seen lots of things get started and a lot of things come to an end. In fact facebook can sum up both of those statements ... tis new to me, andhas been great to meet up with old friends again, but it has also been the ending of a very long crush. The first bloke that I ever fancied is on it, and though he is still a good looking man, he hasnt aged as well as my memory of him. Tis probably a good thing, now I no-longer have him on a pedastole maybe I`ll be willing to let other people have a chance and not be so critical ... but then again maybe not. I`m not really sure if I`m cut out for the whole relationship thang.
But thats a worry for next year, eh?
I hope everyone here has a good time tonight, celebrating/reminiscing etc in whatever way seems most fitting, and that 2008 is the year when your hopes take form.
