thank god thats over!
(and before you say anything, yeap dang, I've copied my email to you over to here with possibly a few ammendments!)
I think it went ok ... got there about 10 minutes early, cos ... well, its me, and the chances of me being late were non existant! So I got there early, and wandered about looking for the room, to find the 2 interviewers all ready sat inside and waiting - aparently the person before me wasnt very talkative so the interview ended early :-)
Anyway, we started early and the interview went on for nearly 1.5hrs, half an hour longer than first advocated - much laughing and joking occurred, including them already branding me as a trouble maker while we were discussing first principles and stuff ... I`m taking it as a good sign ... the laughing definately, the branding ... we'll have to see!
Sadly the academic assessment was being given 30 minutes with which to write on the topic "Discuss the impact of the bristol redevelopment on people and services". " main downsides to this ... firstly I had to do it by hand ...a nd you know what my hand writing is like, and secondly I know naff all about the redevelopment really, so just had to waffle about the philosophy of change.
On the upside, after the interview they effectively said that they would be expecting to see me in september ... or atleast thats how I interpretated it. All going well, next week I`ll get a date for the final part of this whoile process, where I have to do an assessment and interview at work.

In fact as long as I get through this stage I`ll be happy. If the college says yes to me, then that mens they believe I have the ability and drive to complete a foundation degree in 3 years part time (just 1 day a week!). If work then say no, it just means that I`m not what work is looking for as a prospective manager, which isnt such a hardship.
Big hugs to all my lovely well wishers, was a major benefit for calming the nerves to know so many knew I could do it without falling to pieces :-)
