First day of summer band!
Today was the first day of summer band, bitches! It was pretty fun... My mother woke me up at 6:45 so I got ready and left to get Lester and Victoria at about 7:30. We got there and everyone was already crowding around the black top so we went straight there. We stretched and had to run a lap around the practice field in step, which wasn't bad at all. There were a few people who were falling behind and looked like they were gonna pass out... it was pretty sad. I mean.. it's just ONE lap around a football field... COME ON PEOPLE. After that we started working on fundamentals and Mr Rubio took me, Jackson, and Dominic (the two other tuba player) to check out tubas... Oh my God... THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! I could see my entire reflection in mine and it's so light! Yeah so we went back outside to finish working on fundamentals but Jackson and Dominic wouldn't stop playing around... I was getting really angry and asked them nicely to calm down... and they did... for a while. Nina walked RIGHT BY US when they were fucking around... SHE SHOULD'VE SAID SOMETHING. She and Eno did NOTHING today. They better start acting like Drum Majors tomorrow and start leading the stretching and helping out. As it turns out... we're going to have atleast 118 people in band... that's considered enough for 3 Drum Majors... AND WE NEED A THIRD ONE. WHAT THE HELL?!?!? I KNEW THAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN. So we went inside and got some music and Mr Rubio just spoke for a while.
After practice I went took Lester and Victoria to Jay and saw Ashley, Melinda, Jennifer, David, and David. So Lesley talked to Ariel for a little while and then we left to get some food from Beijing Express... THEY TOOK FOREVER. Yeah, so I dropped them off and came home... and... yeah.
