I REALLY liked the sermon that my priest gave at church today... He talked about how we are fortunate to have a very patient God that gives us free will and is very welcoming. That's why I can't stand it whenever someone asks "WHY DOES GOD HATE ME," or "WHY DOES GOD PUNISH ME?!' God is not vengeful or full of wrath... He doesn't punish us. WE SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR ACTIONS. My Mom told me that a long time ago and I always try and remember it. So REMEMBER THAT PEOPLE. God doesn't punish us, we suffer the consequences of our actions.
