Ah yes... I've waited, I've asked the question of, 'When is Apple going to release a Touchsreen iPod?' ... Mind you, this was before the iPhone craze that everybody went through... Well then came the iPhone... Now comes the announcement I've been waiting a week and a half for, not to mention years... iPod Touch... The question I have to ask myself is if 16GB of Flash memory is enough... I think it might be... Hmm...

First off, I forgot to mention the iPhone price cut... $200!!!! Geeze... I feel sorry for all those people that stood in line, but I think the price cut came from the flash costs, etc... That kinda falls in line with the fact that they're ordering an enormous amount of 8GB flash to cover the new iPod Touch... Anyway... That's all on that subject...
I think my excitement has kind of gone away... I was eagerly awaiting a higher capacity iPod Touch, and all I got was the 16GB... It's kinda sad, so I might just hold out for the 32GB version... I'm wondering if Apple put too many eggs in their basket... They've got all these different products, but the reason I haven't adopted any of them is because there's not 1 super device... I was hoping the iPod Touch was going to be that super device, but it's Flash Mem capacity fell under that mark... We'll see... I definately don't think 16GB is enough for music AND video... But I also don't think an 8GB nano is the answer either...
Back to the drawing board I guess... Fingers crossed that those 32 and 64GB Solid State/Flash Mem manufacturers get their costs down and capacities up...
