There comes a time when through means of introspection a person comes to conclusions on certain aspects of their life, that they would have preferrably not found. However, even though these aspects were discovered it does not necessarily mean they will be fixed. Simply put "Just because i understand doesn't mean i care". Maybe we should though, maybe instead of ignoring our inner problems we should take action. Perhaps we should rigoursly purge ourselves of our deficiencies. Or maybe...just maybe, we should say fuck it and ignore them. Because although, yes, we'd rather not have these flaws these flaws are what make us. Prespectively, it could be like good and evil, Good would not be discernable if there was no evil to discern it from; and likewise, we would have no outstanding (as in standing out) qualities w/o our imperfections. This brings to mind WabiSabi: the quintessential Japanese aesthetic. It is a beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
I'll leave you with this saying that you can look back on in retrospect when the times comes for you to recognize your imperfections "the woods would be very silent, if no birds sang except those that sang best" Henry Van Dyke
