Who: Ram, open
Where: around the city
What: walking. Or running. Or spontaneous breakdance? anything at all, really.
Warnings: none as yet
Ram bit his lip, looking around automatically as he stepped off the train.
The last half-dozen millicycles had been tough on everyone. Outright disappearances were down, but the Rinzler count had gone up again; it galled the actuarial program that he hadn't even met the latest arrival yet, and if Anon and the others had had any success in tracking the dangerous ones down, the news hadn't filtered through to him. Worse yet, he'd begun to suspect that the formulas he was working with wouldn't hold true for much longer. The more programs the Portal drew in, the less statistically significant even the most powerful programs would become.
He didn't want to trouble Tron about that yet. There were still behavioral patterns to track, and the downward trend wasn't solid enough to worry his friend for what might be no reason. And in the meantime, people in the City had begun to take safety more seriously, traveling in groups and looking out for one another. There were good things going on, if you knew where to look for them.
Stopping at a kiosk to send out a quick ping, he set off down one of the broad streets nearby. He'd taken to swinging by his friends' sectors on his way home, just to make contact; and though he wasn't on the patrol roster, he detoured through areas where he had friends in security, to touch base and see if they could use an extra set of eyes. As long as he traveled with someone or kept to well-populated areas, he was as safe as any other program on the Grid, and he wasn't about to hide in his quarters if there might be something he could do.
[[I know I'm WAAAY behind on a number of threads, but this should probably go here before the plots advance more. XD~ Feel free to meet Ram somewhere or have him visit you or get in trouble or out of trouble or whatever strikes your fancy!~]]
