A Rare Moment of Peace

Sep 06, 2011 15:54

WHO: Lizor, Aadi and Fire
WHEN: Relatively current.
(after Lizor had a chance to rest after his long walk when meeting Sam and catching up with Yori)
WHAT: Aadi and Fire approach Lizor about going to a recompiler
WHERE: Lizor's quarters beneath the EoL
WARNINGS: None! Save for Lizor's distress at not wanting to go to the doc haha!

After managing to get some rest and re-energized, Lizor was spending some time in his quarters alone to do his regular physical routine. He wore loose fitting black pants tied at the waist and nothing else as he twisted and flipped about the large space in the center of his dimmed apartment. Even now, after having rerezzed quite a while ago - his apartment was still rather sparse. He had very little in personal posessions or furniture.

His place was like one huge rectangle. On the far side from entering, was floor to ceiling windows that covered the entire length of the wall. On the end, closest to the entrance - the floor dipped down a level into a seating area with lit floor panels. An L shaped couch and a couple of chairs...with a clear see through table in the center. A vid panel was on the wall, which Lizor rarely used.

On the opposite end, near the large windows - a fully stocked bar, courtesy of Castor was located...as well as a lit edged table and a couple of chairs next to the windows. Across from that in the darkest corner - was Lizor's sleeping area, tucked away behind Japanese style folding screens. His bed, a low futon like platfom, covered in soft dark blankets and a collection of pillows.

There was a simple wall shelf in this sleeping area, which had a couple of memory sticks and holo hexes, his baton and things he didn't want lost. Aadi's holo - which he normally kept with him, was set up on this shelf closest to his bed, so that she was always lit and standing there with that soft smile. Right where he could see it when laying down to rest. His identity disc was currently on a recharging stand located at his bedside. The book Quorra let him borrow "The Art of War by Sun Tsu" was on his bed with an empty hex to mark the place he left off.

On the wall outside of the folding screens between the sleeping area and the entrance into his apartment - was a niche where Lizor's comm station was located, a chair infront for him to sit. All in all - a rather simple arrangement and nothing extravagant. The center of the space was rather large and empty...a perfect place in his opinon to train and allow himself to be lost in movement.

Currently he was absorbed in the movements of his disc kata. Going from the most basic to the most advanced he knew - seamlessly moving from one to the other. His processes were quiet and rather focused - paying attention to little else while he twisted about the room. He always found this calm within such flurries of motion rather enjoyable. This...was where things seemd to make the most sense - and it allowed him to just zone out in the pleasure of movement.
