Friends,
I am in sector 112 attempting to restore an area. The sector itself is not on the priority listing for restoration - however I am taking it upon myself to try and fix this small spot for the sake of an important memory. If any of you wish to assist and are not on any priority tasks, I welcome your help and your company. Included with this ping is the exact numerical coordinates where you can find me.

----end message--------

Lizor put the public comm station back on standby before continuing on to his intended location. He had been careful to only send this message to his known companions. The only one he did not send to was Aadi - though he did send his usual non-message ping to let her know he was all right. He had seen one of her own when he had logged onto the comm. He knew he had mentioned to her that he had seen the old courtyard where they had first met - and would have liked to fix it up...but that was a while ago. With her being involved with fixing up the storage warehouse beneath her place to be an Art Gallery - he hoped that this idea of his would have slipped her data streams. He wanted to make this a surprise...and special.

Soon enough - within a quarter of a microcycle - Lizor was alone within the old and decayed courtyard. Doing what he could, he muscled aside debris - just shoving it in a pile for now off to the side. As a combat program he really wasn't programmed for this type of work and he had no two clues on how to actually restore and repair anything.

He hoped that Fire - one of his friends whom he had sent his message to - would show up. Her work would be very welcomed. He had even sent the message to the Encom Clu that Aadi had introduced him to whom he had tagged as 'friendly'. It would be a little strange...but even his help would be appreciated. He also hoped to see friends he hadn't spent time with in a while, like Ram or Jazz. Though he saw the bartender frequently at work - they hadn't had a chance to chat off duty much.

The courtyard itself was walled in and not quite a circle. More like a hexagon with faceted sides. A gate marked the front where one could enter and exit. A broken fountain in the center would have been flowing with energy back in its day - and the structure or what could have been a sculpture on the top of it, was long gone...chunks of it littering the bottom of the fountain and the ground around it. Lizor remembered that there were places to sit at intervals around the perimeter - but whatever had been there was long gone or broken apart. The areas underfoot which would have been lit were broken or shattered. Anything that would have been hung above was gone now too as well as the decor and structures that used to decorate the area. It had almost been like a tiny micro version of the Central Sector Park without all the levels. Lizor desired to get it as close as possible to its original design. Maybe add a few new touches to make it special.

This part of the old sector had been a residential area, and so buildings here weren't as huge as the ones closer to city center. The courtyard was surrounded on all sides except for the front gate by buildings that would have been lived in at one time. The courtyard would have been a central point between the surrounding buildings. Providing a common area for the residents to hang out in. Though now the buildings too, had fallen to disrepair and were degrading and falling apart now.

Though he didn't know what he was doing, nor how he would go about doing it - Lizor at least did what he did know. Muscling as much debris aside as he could. Some chunks were quite big...so there were times where he had to use his disc to break it down. Currently - he was perched on the side of the broken fountain - one strong lean leg bracing on the side of it while grasping onto a large chunk of what probably was part of a sculpture at one time. Now it was unrecognizable and pixelized junk.

He wore a lighter version of his typical armor. It was more for protection from injury than anything at this point. A black jacket like garment was over that - the collar lined with blue, the surface with minimal circuitry lines to protect them. He was covered in pixels and dust from the stuff he was dragging around and it glittered in his hair and smeared his face. With measured and powerful strokes - he worked at chopping the edge of his blazing disc onto the large chunk he was holding. Bits of the debris hitting the ground with a heavy tinkling sound.
