Who: Alan Bradley and Open
When: Today
Where: Physically? The User world. But um...
What: Alan is really bored in this meeting.
Warnings: Crack. All of it. Walls of text crack. WALLS OF IT.

The meeting was extremely boring. Alan couldn't think of a more boring meeting if he even tried. If he was honest with himself he was currently searching for ways to not blame Sam Flynn for how utterly boring the meeting was turning out to be. After all, it was the young man's absence that had Herbert grasping at straws trying to waste time with nonsensical data waiting for the boy to show up and finish the presentation as it was rightfully meant to be presented. Poor Herbert didn't even have all of the information needed to interest any of the other board members.

It was like Kevin Flynn all over again. Sam was going to have to learn that the only way to convince them to do things his way was by being in the room to explain it to them. And even then he would simply have to force half of them to do what he wanted.

At least Sam had an advantage: him, Alan Bradley. But even Bradley could do only so much while the boss was away.

He sighed out loud and immediately regretted it. He gave Herbert a look that clearly said 'please continue' in that sort of way that was almost like pleading but somehow more elegant looking. The other man obliged and Alan was thankful when the attention was lost on him.

Two seconds later and the droning announcements were background noise as Bradley became immersed within the intricacies of his tablet computer. He was 99.9% sure he knew exactly where Sam had disappeared off to: the Grid.

With a poke and stroke here and there, Alan brought up the program that would relay his message to the young Flynn (he couldn't help but imagine a figure in Grid-style running outfit jogging along, carrying a message tablet to the User inside), a special connection to the Grid that Sam had created and given to Alan a few months back when he had finally gotten up the nerve to tell Alan about the mystical world. Now when Sam was away Alan always had access to him. He tried not to use it too often--tried not to annoy Sam to the point that he simply ignored Alan all the time--but some things just had to be done.

And God was Alan bored right now.

He brought up the program, which looked something like an IM messenger on his end, and hesitated briefly before typing.

Where are you? You're forgetting something again.

Little did he know that there was a flux in the air.

[[ooc: hey guys! have some crack. Users, feel free to be in on the meeting and/or interrupt it. Programs, feel free to receive the message by mistake and/or intercept it. it's going to end up in Portal malfunctioning grid_lined era Grid so that anyone and everyone can interact with him through an I/O tower. or, you know, whatever. he's from a few months after Legacy in the theory that Sam told him about the Grid finally. and thus the message going for him into the Grid through his tablet. have fun!!!:D:D:D]]
