Oh look, a distraction!
I gotta quit with the LJ for a couple of hours today, or I'm not going to get any work done :P Seems like there's a lot going on at the moment; Mercury is still in retrograde, so I'll just blame that.
Also, I got the joyous task of calling the cops this morning. There was some dude stumbling around our building, looking like he was about to keel over or something, and getting really belligerent when anybody got anywhere near him. And it took the cops freaking forever to show up! None of us wanted to cross the hall to go to the bathroom or anything because he was out there. I thought this town had a decent police presence! The officer who finally showed up looked really tired, though, like he'd been up all night, so I wasn't snippy with him.
And I still can't get ahold of the no-shows for today. I guess they are in trouble after all.
