Breasts

The comic I posted this morning must have been kinda prophetic. I had a meeting this afternoon with the group from our helpdesk to move over the support of an application I'm currently supporting. I hadn't met any of them before. One of them was an attractive women who was quite well endowed. I consider myself a gentleman but I couldn't help but take a few glances. When she wasn't looking, of course. And I made certain to look her in the eye when talking to her.

The strange thing is I'm not really a "breast man". Don't get me wrong- I like them. A lot. They are fun to look at. Fun to touch. Just good all around. But I very much prefer to look at a woman's face. Much more personality there. The way she smiles. The way a frown can be seen in her eyes. The way her nose might scrunch up when she's making a face. Her lips... So much more interesting and varied then breasts are. But at the same time, I still take glances at breasts when not watched. I'm just not sure why.

Is it the "forbidden" nature of them? The fact that you are not supposed to look or see them? Something similar to the fact that lingerie can be sexier then outright nudity? Or is it something more basic? There is an interesting show on Discovery that talks about the history of sex and attraction, and they pointed out that we (males) are genetically predisposed to be attracted to breasts. And larger breasts indicate a better ability to feed young, so women with them appear to be better potential mates. Is it that simple? Or am I really a breast man in denial?

In any event, it is kinda annoying.

questions, breasts, me
