Mom's Memorial
I am not the poet others pretend to be, but I am notorious for being to the point. Just don't take my bluntness as being cold, more of still a state of shock.
As most everyone knows by now, my mom passed away early the past Monday morning. About 80% of the people I know here also knew her and know just how important she was in my life. Many of those and others have asked about services and gifts and typical ceremonial things. Here are the basics:
Mom passed at while in the care of the wonderful people of Hospice Atlanta. They have offered us use of their facilities for a series of services Saturday afternoon/evening. (Address and directions in first comment)
She was a very big fan of nature and gardening in general and of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens specifically. To celebrate this love, we have decided that in lieu of gifts or flowers, we wish that donations be made in her name to the ABG (directions are in the second comment)
