Long Weekend
Wade and I went up to Georgia Friday morning early and returned to Tallahassee late Monday afternoon. We had a blast. We went to Little Ocmulgee State Park, American Camellia Society, and Reed Bingham State Park. We also just looked around the different towns and landscapes along the way too. I just posted all the new garden pictures on our website, so enjoy.
It was a nice peaceful and relaxing weekend. We talked about retirement and what we want to do and when. Boy we wanted to go right then and not look back. Maybe in 2-5 years we can actually do it instead of just talk about it.
I went back to work today. I've been very good about keeping my office organized and up-to-date on my work back log. My office was starting to look an awful lot like my boss's office. If you saw it you would know what I meant! I got caught up on all the inventory, surplus and cannabilization before I left Thursday. I worked on some room tags today. Nick helped by putting them in order and double checking property records. He found a few errors so I ordered the correct ones today. I was in too good a mood today to let anyone rain on my parade. Yes, some tried. I've been feeling really good lately and it feels GREAT!
I go into the dentist on March 14 for him to do the bottom pulls and partial. YUCK! Nervous of course but the top didn't go as bad as I thought so I'm hoping the same for the bottom.
Got a haircut today. I'll have to wait until in the morning to decide if I like it or not. Usually have to grow it out a little before I do. Had to shower and get all those little cut hairs off me when I got home. They itched.
Well, I'm making brownies as a treat for myself for getting the website updated. Talk to you all later.
