In the past two weeks I have stayed up till the small hours of the morning twice, which reminds me that I'm no longer in college. I used be able to do that with impunity.
rhea314 showed me lots of Stargate Atlantis, which was fantastic, and even more music videos, which were equally marvelous. I now understand the fanfic I read somewhat better.
Recently my arms hurt less, mostly due to my having stopped work for the summer, no doubt, but whatever the reason I'm grateful. Very very grateful. I'm still not typing, which means I have to use Dragon voice to make this post, and I still can't figure out why it's so much slower than typing. Speaking should be faster than typing, right? Although then there's the one program which has to recognize what I'm saying, and that sometimes takes a while. Oh well. Better than nothing. At least this way, if I do get bit by a writing bug, I can work on the story that's nibbling on me.
I tried to get started on Virtua Tech again, but somehow it just wasn't coming. The HP fic, however, I think is close to coming, so the next time I write anything I'll probably work on that.
By the way, my friends list is awesome. Seriously, I'm sorry I only lurk, but you guys are wonderful and I love reading about your lives. beckaandzac‘s fic is awesome, so everyone should go read it, and the next time I turn on my computer I'm going to hunt down some of ciaan’s, because she’s another amazing writer. How lucky am I that all these phenomenal authors are on my friends list?
Oh, all you Quaker-type people, have any of you heard from Leslie? Is she happy to be graduated? Doing well? I emailed her, but I haven't gotten a reply. Hope you all have a good time at FGC. (Say hi to rhea314, who just came from visiting us. See how much I love you, I'm lending you my fabulous cousin.)
Peace and a lack of allergies be with you. Glomp, yo.
