The more I think about it, the more sexuality in the world of Juuni Kokki intrigues me. I mean, these people don't need to have sex to procreate, so what is the sex situation? I mean, do they even have certain sexual reproduction organs or are they just sterile humans? If I remember correctly, Yoko and Sugimoto were almost sold into a brothel--right? If so, people want sex, so something's working... People get "married" but in some cases it seems like marriages of convenience, aka land acquirement. I wonder what their outlook on homosexuality is, too, considering that gender equality is pretty high in the 12 Kingdoms world and again that whole "We don't need to procreate" thing.
