Sweet fantasy, baby~
I swear Beyonce's new single "Countdown" sounds like Mariah Carey's "Fantasy" (oh, so nostalgic!). I heard "Countdown" during my morning drive today and kept thinking, "What does that sound like?" Not the "Killing me softly" part, but the melody that directly follows it.
I'm mostly listening to the pop radio stations today, so I hear the same ten songs everyday. However, that is not to say that there aren't songs I enjoy on the radio. I rock out to Rihanna's "We Found Love," Afrojack's "Take Over Control," Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" (which is a really chill song, kind of not in the pop genre that usually plays on the stations that I listen to), Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" (even though this one is approaching dangerously overplayed territory).
In other news, I am completely living in a time warp. I have no sense of time. When I think back on October, it feels twice as long as it actually lasted. These days I seem to be having quite a few "Oh, my life" moments. Often when I'm in the car and driving, actually.
*facepalm* Oh, my life.
But I got to sleep an extra hour thanks to our time change going into effect last night! (Except not really. I woke up at "6" because I'm so used to automatically waking up at 7.)
