Secret Garden

If anyone would like to watch Secret Garden, DramaFever is actually putting up the episodes. My Soju is posting up using Viikii subs. For whatever reason, the Viikii Secret Garden subbing group seems to be releasing soft subs but is not making the episodes available at Viikii itself. Don't ask me. The Written in the Heavens Subbing Squad (WITH S2) is also subbing the show, but their subs will be much slower. As in, they've finished episode 1 whereas the Viikii group has someone finished all 6 episodes when 5 & 6 just aired this past weekend.

I feel like I should endorse this show simply because how fun episode 6 was. When I kept reading about a bodyswitch being a part of this show, I was skeptical. The first five episodes were interesting in and of themselves with the leads' dynamics and chemistry. The drama itself may go nowhere and be ultimately disappointing (like so many dramas that start off promisingly), but the set up to episode 6 was just so good. Hyun Bin and Ha Jiwon totally throw themselves into the switch. Hyun Bin especially is hilariously, distraughtly feminine, while Jiwon gets to, well, cock it up. Even raw episode 6 was funny and ridiculous.

The drama has a lot of quickfire snarky dialogue, with the mains being sorta love-hate-ish. Sorta because the male lead is totally into her against his will and better judgment. The female lead is less into him but is intrigued? flatted enough? to try to give him chances, wherein she has flashes of interest until his arrogance turns her off again. Hyun Bin and Ha Jiwon generate a lot of physical UST. Sexing each other up with their eyes is not inaccurate.

It'll be much more fun once they have to live each other's lives. :D Joowon-in-Raim's-body is already effing up her life! Raim-in-Joowon's-body is probably going to (more unintentionally) screw up his.

Gdi, but someone in the comments of the Dramabeans recaps keeps referring to Gil Raim (Ha Jiwon's' character) as "Key Lime" and now I can't unhear it. D:
