I actually decided to start the Open Thread tonight because I was like, "It's already Friday for all those crazy people on the other side of the world. Especially that one person who will get to go to the concert RAWR. . ."

I'm a big supporter of the Powerof9 when it comes to the girls themselves and their friendships.

Absolutely. There was a comment on toebeast's sub of Strong Heart that went something like, "I don't like Hyo. Hyo and the others should respect TaeYeon more" and I just sat here thinking, "Are we fans of the same group? Do you realize that the other girls were willing to let TaeYeon step down as leader because they--specifically Hyo--thought it would relieve her from that burden? Do you realize that they are friends? WTH?" I don't get it.

Speaking of liking the girls together, I was laughing at this news cut (post GDAs, I believe) because when Hyo was explaining the differences between the "Gee" and "Genie" choreography, a) SooYoung was watching her so intently, b) YoonA started laughing and then everyone started giggling and Hyo got all self-conscious in her way, which c) made SooYoung break out into a smile as Hyo leaned into her because she was all LOL. But then Hyo got back on track and was like, "Am I right?" Hyo was speaking well here. With just the girls, she's fine. *sigh*

It is night here and not yet Friday in this part of the US, lol. My day was surprisingly warm. We've been having some weird weather this year in San Diego. It looks waaaaaaay cold in Seoul! I kept noticing how all the Melon staff and managers had their big fluffy jackets on and wondered how cold the girls must have been in their outfits!

KDW and ISJ movie? I don't think I know it. BUt I really want to see Son YeJin's Into the White Night. She's part of my "Alone in Love" alumni that I stalk. I think Lee HaNa has an upcoming project too!

I hadn't seen the Davichi clip, actually, since I only watched the SNSD cuts of Melon, lol. But I'm totally imagining you at the noraebang now. =D
