I love dance 'cause I can't dance
I just realized a) how many vids Lee MinYoung of JYP has on YT, b) how many of them are just her groovin' out in the dance studio, and c) how many views they have. ! (I think MinYoung has technically debuted with a few English-language songs, but the fact that it happened in the American market seems to have kept her relatively unknown--but apparently not enough to bury her YT vids into obscurity.) This is the type of exposure and attention I wish HyoYeon's dancing could garner.
I wonder if JYP would consider putting Min into a girl group in Korea--Min would be a serious dancing machine in a hip-hop girl group. She could easily draw a lot of attention in the way that HyoYeon keeps talking about wanting to dominate the stage (but more as a solo-artist-in-the-future thing)--a hard-hitting female dancer rather than a sexy one, though Min possibly mixes both better than Hyo does. Oh, and Min is TINY. She looks like a little kid (she still kinda is) next to her choreographer/partner?
I wonder what SM's policy is on dance studio/rehearsal footage. The SuJu boys seem to be posting up their dance studio hijinks all the time. In other words, I wonder if it's a tactical strategy on SM's part to keep HyoYeon under wraps or if it's HyoYeon's "whatevs" attitude that has prevented anything like practice videos leaking out. Dear HyoYeon, can you just moonlight with a dance crew? We would love you lots! You can wear a mask or something and pretend it's not you, just as long as the fans can figure it out, we'll be happy!
BTW, new SNSD song title: "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" and the MV set pics just suggest . . . a lot of thoughts I shouldn't entertain because they can only be way off. LOL
