(no subject)

Dear Sarah Shahi, I wish you hadn't gotten pregnant if only because all this trying to get you off screen in Life is lame. Can't you see that Crews misses his Reese and vice versa? He's always calling Reese for a phone conference session and getting awkwardly caught talking aloud to dead air. The Reese-Crews dysfunctional friendship is too awesome not to have maximum screentime!

Dear Alice Sebold, could your latest novel, Almost Moon, be any more depressing? Actually, the answer is yes and that's depressing. -_-;

Dear Patricia O'Brien, I'm not a big history buff--it's always been my weakest subject--but Harriet and Isabella makes American historical drama . . . well, not exactly fun, but engaging. I can imagine the Beecher family drama was possibly even more dramatic--family drama has a way of being insidious. Ah, Beecher's Bibles, one of the few things I remember from history classes. (Hint for the non-U.S. citizens who couldn't care less about American history: they're not books.) I would've hated to be a Beecher--not only would you have grown up cowering in the fire-and-brimstone doctrine of Calvinism, but trying to live up to/living in the shadow of your siblings? Not cool. Also, the use of the present tense in this novel? Kinda not cool either.

Dear SeoHyun and HyoYeon, you are too cute <3 :

Actually SeoHyun, though I think your extreme shyness makes you fade into the background at times and that you need to not let your unnies speak for you 99% of the time, I have a real soft spot for seeing all the other members dote on you. There really is something about SeoHyun's shyness and naivety that is endearing and inspires WAFFy urges to protect/huggle her. (But everyone knows that it's "maknae on top" off camera--all the unnies have said it. Doting indulgence = being bossed around by the youngest, lol. Also LOL: maknae calling Tiffany a peanut because she's short in comparison. HAHA. Tiffany objects: "I'm 162.6 cm [dammit].")
