Must . . . resist . . . another . . . SNSD . . . post . . . *fails*.

An emotional performance of "Dear Mom" at Inkigayo. This is pretty much officially the song that makes the girls cry, whether they sing it or talk about it. Those pictures of when they were little are so cute.

Jessica, Tiffany, SooYoung, Sunny, and HyoYeon on "Home Entertainment". How awesome is their teamwork? And how vast is their knowledge of music and songs' corresponding dance routines? I think half of all the non-verbal communication was done through dance choreography. The Korean-American JeNy duo was especially on point with each other. HyoYeon's little "ya" protests when Sunny wasn't guessing the songs correctly was cute. Not as chaotic or boisterous as "Song Battle" but still fun. Oh, and SNSD is not above cheating and sabotage.

Jessica, Tiffany, SooYoung, Sunny, and HyoYeon on Star King again. (Recorded the same day they appeared on "Good Morning." I love how you can tell when they record multiple shows in one day because their outfits don't change for that day.) This cut, where the celebs have to guess which person behind the screen is a man ("namja"), is funny. =D Poor Sunny being teased with her real name (SoonGyu) again, but she hits Tiffany back with MiYoung, Tiffany's Korean name. I'm not sure why Sunny doesn't like her real name but Tiffany doesn't like her Korean name because it sounds older. (Real names!)

A million other appearances! Just this weekend members had spots on "Introducing a Star's Friend" (where they were being set up with stars' friends? Haven't watched it yet, but YuRi and SooYoung are like variety show gold because they are so uninhibited), "Star Golden Bell," "We Got Married," "Gold Miss," and who knows what else! The girls are in high demand.

In English-language media, my bro and I rented and watched Planet B-Boy, The Duchess, and The House Bunny.

Planet B-Boy is a fun, informative, dynamic documentary following the 2006 b-boy "Battle of the Year," following the representative teams from South Korea, USA, France, and Japan. I kind of want to snuggle it and wish I could attend the actual annual event. It looks crazy and fun and some of the stuff that happens on that stage makes ABDC look like child's play. The South Koreans are crazy! Their moves just seem to defy logic and self-preservation.

The Duchess - not crazy about Keira Knightly here, but I thought Ralph Fiennes played his awkward duke role well, and I liked whoever played Lady Bess too. Really rich costuming, of course, but somewhat "blah" movie wherein you want to tell the Duchess to stop being an idiot. Appropriately infuriating, as well, for the gender double-standards.

The House Bunny - lots of awkward humor, wherein I felt bad laughing much of the time because I felt bad for the characters. It turns out to be feel-good, of course, but I felt so many of the characters were too much caricatures to be affecting. And why the sorority's head girl Natalie would be attracted to that dude completely goes over my head.
