Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, everyone!
Since it is the New Year, I'll take a moment to reflect on the crazy phenomena in my life known as Fullmetal Alchemist. Or, more importantly, the FMA fandom, especially the RoyAi'ers. I am relatively young to this fandom, having only leapt into it during the summer. I jumped into the fangirlism with eyes shut tightly and fingers crossed, and was received by a community whose kindness and encouragement I could not have anticipated or asked more of. That journey has been a strange one; from the uncertainty of writing the R15 (and wondering if I was already getting in over my head with writers like summerwolf, pornkings, zauberer_sirin, merryhellraiser (just to mention a few) already established and spilling out floods of awesome ficcage) to the Hawkeye 12 to now, the change in my own perceptions and approaches is noticeably different. Because of that, it amazes me even more the support and feedback the FMA het community has given me. You have all shaped and augmented my love for this series and it's the creativeness and care that all of you approach this fandom with that has only made the FMA hook in me sink that much deeper.
Thank you all so much. =D You guys make fangirling worth it. Here's to a New Year, hopefully just as filled with fic, silliness, and fun.
