The restaurant is absolutely positively sold finally. My mom will be able to close it in 2 weeks. I'm glad that my mom no longer has that burden and I think it's clear I never exactly loved the damn place, but it does still feel like a bittersweet change in my life. Even the places we hate become part of who we become. The restaurant also feels intertwined with the memory of my dad.
