Well, that's wicked annoying....
Something's going on with my lender and I'm still waiting for my federal financial aid to be processed. Great, but I also have to pay my tuition by Tuesday or else get slapped with 3% interest on a $20,000 bill. So I had previously taken out a private loan (because I thought I wasn't getting ANY federal aid) and have pretty much been sitting on it just in case. Justin Case just showed up.
My mom deposited the check to my checking account yesterday morning, and the full 30k balance is in my accounts. BUT! My attempt to pay the whole kit&kaboodle online bounces. Why?? Because my stupid bank is only allowing $5,000 available to checking. So not only can I not pay off in whole, I can't even move that remaining amount into my OTHER online banking account just yet.
I paid $5000 just to get some money started. Hopefully the rest of the money will become available by tomorrow. If not, I guess I'll just have to keep transferring money in $5,000 installments. See: title above.
