Google Images has failed me. I cannot find a picture of hairstyle, period.
I went to Envy today and got my highlights for the summer. I'd been debating for a bit whether to go back there-- I love the results because it's subtle and lasts a while, but it's quite expensive and last time I was there, I didn't like the little bit of trimming that Lisa did. So I was trying to find a cheaper place to go, somewhere between Hair Cuttery where I have Jennifer do my hairstyle, and Envy. The one place I called though, was closing, and I really do LOVE the color that Lisa does. Plus it's only twice a year if that....so I went for it again.
But once again, love the color, but she just doesn't quite get that I don't want my mom's haircut. I don't WANT to go back to parted-down-the-center bob cut. Yes, I'm growing out my hair a bit, but I don't want a girly cut! She shaped up the back a bit and luckily did not take anything off the front because it's just long enough to kinda tuck behind my ears. But as soon as I got out of there, I tried to get rid of the part, which was unfortunately blow-dried in.
Yes this is boring hair stuff. But at least it's an update.
Danielle and I hung out in Ellicott City for a while. I'm glad you're back D-dawg! Talked shop--hockey, school, Warren, etc. I also had my annual physical today, Cedric's wife is coming to stay for a bit before the family reunion, and Kim and I went to see Fast and the Furious III last night in addition to watching rented movies. (Honestly, I think the two of us are going to revitalize the movie industry by ourselves, we've gone to see so many things.)
Back to the hair, I'm finally happy with the "Prince Charming" length and basic look--I just want to fine-tune my bangs so I'm not always mad at them and they look good. Is that too much to ask? C'mon Google, work with me!
