well, i am officially 29 as of Jan 27th. I'm looking forward to 30 because it's becoming the new 'coming of age' year, i think. like hobbits and their 33. and to think that a few hundred years ago, you were a fully functional adult at 12! that is a place hard to conceive (not pun). i feel like i didn't even figure out who i was until i was 24-25 in

Since you can't come back to Kansas I'm glad you are at least only a short plane hop away, really. Maybe the weather gods will smile on us and you can make a Yule or two. If not that, maybe a Summer Solstice, or Heartland.
Did you ever find out what part of Chicago has the things you are looking for? (Yoga studios, farmer's markets, hippie stuff...LOL).
