If I was Shonda...
Watching Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice today, and I decided that things would be VERY VERY different if I was Shonda.
Here goes...
1) AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF ALL. Maddison would happen. More frequently, and better. Though I guess, realistically, from this point onwards, the whole Addison/Sam thing can happen, then fall apart... Mark can struggle with feeling all purposeless (bless him) without Sloan's baby... they're both miserable... and he shows up on Addison's doorstep in the last scenes of the Private Practice season finale, begging for a second chance.
2) Meredith and Derek, I'm actually dealing fairly well with, at the moment. Less drama is good, and I like that... I'm not sure about Derek being the Chief, however, as much as I'd stopped liking Richard Webber a fair while back, I'm pretty sure he ought to come out of rehab back like he used to be, take the job back, and be ... better.
3) Isaiah aside, I loved Burke. So, in an ideal dream world, we'd have Burke coming back, Cristina realising she actually loved Burke more than Owen, and then Owen could get with Teddy... because I love Teddy. Strangely.
4) Lexie can get with Alex. Or Jackson Avery. I don't really care.
5) Izzie and Reid should both disappear.
6) Dr Bailey, clearly the single best thing about the entire show, should get some more love. I like this new guy, we could work that one out...
7) Callie and Arizona should NEVER EVER CHANGE. And Jessica Capshaw should have as much screen time as possible. Because I love her.
In Private Practice:
8) See 1). As much as I love Sam, he shouldn't be with Addison.
9) Naomi & Gabriel. Now. Please.
10) Dell deserves some love. Really. Maybe a single Mom with a kid to play with Betsy? Someone nice and normal and lovely. Please.
11) Cooper & Charlotte. Back together. Married. Pretty babies. Lots of happiness. :)
12) Pete & Violet & Lucas. Together.

My Private Practice wishes seem to have become one word sentences. I think I care more about those characters. :L
