So, basically I am done with my god awful job on Oct 31 and Nov 1 I am taking the horses to Ithaca to take a barn manager/trainer position.

The position became available two weeks ago at the BBFF's barn whereupon she emailed me immediately and I responded within 3 minutes. I went to talk to the barn owner over the weekend and the position includes a two story, two bedroom house (with a fenced yard for the dogs), in which she is ripping out and replacing the bathroom, redoing the half bath floor and the kitchen floor, putting center ceiling lights in every room and painting all the walls a color of my choosing.
Also I get housing for Alph and Regg, a weekly stipend and a cut of all teaching and training that I do.

The facility is on 100 acres with groomed trails, a big outdoor, a small indoor with an atrium style viewing lounge and dust free footing, all the stalls have fancy grill work etc etc and basically it is gorgeous.

My job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and the BO never has to worry about anything and also to build the training and teaching business. Right now they specialize in beginners and she wants to take it up a notch.

She is fine with me pursuing legal stuff on the side, be it part time or full time, as long as the horses get ridden and lessons get taught and the barn runs. Not like I have any experience with getting the horses ridden come hell or high water or anything. ;)

I had a realtor in to look at the house with the intention to sell it, pull the equity out and get one of those $20k duplexes in the Buffalo ghetto that pull in $900 a month in Section 8 rental income per month. Get enough of those in my living-expense-free life and mark my words, ima be training in Europe before I turn 40.

No more 9-5!
Officially done with that nonsense forever.
