I really get irritated by people thinking the creator should change her ideas based on what hte fans want. Seriously, go write some fanfiction if that's your thing...the whole purpose of watching a show is to follow someone else's creative ideas.

However, I think that it's often in the best interest of the creator/whatever to not live in a total vacuum. But I do think that creative vision and integrity is more important than appeasing "fans"

I like both of them too. I like that Shonda writes like she's thinking, or like she's talking to one of us.

And I think she knows where the show is going. She just doesn't...want us to know where the show is going. Because why would we watch if we already knew what happened? Where would the fun be?

exactly. and it also tells us what she as a person would like to see happen to the characters, not what she as a writer might ultimately do
