That last part is so weird. Why would she think Gizzie was a good idea if she wasn't even ready for it...when she's supposedly had it planned since the pilot? I so don't like her.

My point was that she has said that she had Gizzie planned since the beginning. I wasn't commenting on any of the other storylines.

Switching gears, were you surprised by the strong reaction to George/Izzie?
Rhimes: I had a strong reaction to George and Izzie.

Way to dodge the question, Shondra.

And way to be full of crap. Cause having Burke running out like a coward is really the way to "finish his story" in a way that "really paid tribute" to his character.

You are so right. What part of running out on a wedding with someone who he supposedly was so devoted to spells tribute?

I'm generally not a fan of people dissing showrunners, but I really, I totally agree.

The questions were from critics at the TCA conference this week, so I imagine she is pretty bitchy towards them. I haven't read any positive reviews of s3 of Grey's. B/c [most] critics aren't stupid.

I think her "I had this planned all along" is what she says to anything not well-received. It'd be like George Bush saying the war being a disaster was his plan all along. (And I know how much she'd hate being compared to Bush!)

Do not want. You know, I've always felt certain that Burke's plotline developed due to overmentioned circumstances concerning Isaiah. It was a crappy way to end a terrific relationship and season. And unfortunately for Shonda, pretending that she intended it to be that way "from the very beginning" doesn't lessen the crappiness.

The same can be said for Gizzie.

The evidence is overwhelming...Shonda's gone batshit crazy.

Hahaha! I told somebody last night that I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up in rehab or a crazy house!

I can't wait for Private Practice b/c I Addison > everyone. But how long until Shonda effs that up?

Well, for the record- Not EVERYONE hates Gizzie and even if Shonda didn't have them planned from season 1 or finale planned the way it did for Burke- it doesn't really matter. She doesn't have to tell us jack sh*t about what she has planned. It's HER show. If we don't like it, we have the freedom to walk away. That's the great thing about the remote, you can just hit channel up or down. ;)

Personally, I know I will get a beat down for saying this since everyone on LJ seems to love Private Practice- but I had a hard time staying awake through the Private Practice scenes. I love Addison, don't get me wrong, but that show was BORING/SNOOZE. IMO. I really does hope it gets better. I will definitely attempt to give it another shot. AT least if it bombs, Kate can go back to Grey's.
