i enjoyed reading this article because it gives a very different perspective of things (say, from isaiah washington's point of view) that have transpired. it was actually refreshing. thank you for sharing!

I think the rest of the cast barely knows what's going on like him. I know Ellen found out and was like, "What?" or something like that. Thanks for posting.

He came off really good in this interview, I thought. The people in charge have really baffled me on this one. The firing came so late after the incident, it doesn't exactly come off as a statement of what an actor can't say, especially since Washington has done virtually all he possibly could to be redeemed (hell, there's been more press about his rehab and apologies than there was about the actual incident). I say bad move, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Burke's departure will do to Cristina.

I agree - I found myself sympathizing with him. But after he left the apartment empty, I was pretty sure Burke was going to be out of the picture for season 4.

I think Christina will flourish no matter what. It's who she is.
