Sara Ramierez Lands Record Deal

We’ve already seen her rock out in her underwear on Grey’s Anatomy. Now Tony-winning actress Sara Ramirez, who plays George’s (T.R. Knight) feisty wife, Callie, has signed a deal to record her own album. “All I can say is that Eric Idle and John Du Prez, who were the writers of Spamalot, are writing the album,” Ramirez told TV Guide at the Step Up

And he adds humor! Most of the other character storylines this season have been downers (the illness/death of George's father, the Callie/Izzie/George triangle, the ferry accident/Meredith's lack of desire to fight, etc.). I feel like the only storylines we've been getting with humor are the fight for the position of Chief, and the current chief's trying to get back into the dating game. And Mark's involved in both of those, and makes them all the more funnier.

I heard that he was only signed on for between 4-8 Episodes in S4, but I could never find a source, so I don't know reliable that is.
