So, I recently bought the TV series Angel on DVD, and I've been watching season 3, and I noticed two Grey's actors...  In Carpe Noctem, the nurse, Ryan, is Joe the bartender (Steven W. Bailey who, incidentally, was also in a few episodes of Buffy), and in Provider, Sam Ryan (the fake Harlan Elster) is everyone's favorite heart patient, JDM. ^_^

Yeah... I think her name is Sydney. Seriously, the first time I saw her on Grey's I was like... OMG, it's Halfrek! Incidentally, the same actress played the role of Cecily, Spike's Victorian era love interest, on BtVS. (I'm a fount of Buffy-related knowledge ^_^)

random trivia: Kali Rocha, who showed up in the sixth season as vengeance demon Halfreck, first appeared in a flashback episode in the fifth season as Cecily, the woman who spurned William, causing him to become the vampire known as Spike. Having already cast Rocha as Halfreck, the writers knew the loyal fans would immediately recognize her, so as an inside joke between them, when Halfreck first saw Spike, she said, "William?"

Yeah, I thought that was pretty entertaining. ^^ And now you know there's fanfic going, "why is Cecily a vengeance demon? Was she already when she met Spike?" Oh, the rich and detail-oriented fandom. ^_^
