"While Grey's Anatomy has become TV's top show by transferring the "all for one, one for all" mentality of Friends to the arena of fictional Seattle Grace Hospital, some aren't convinced that's a good thing." -
source The rest of the article goes on about how Grey's is supposedly going "downhill" but that isn't what this is about (by the way, I dont think it is). I was thinking .. Well, I'm a huge huge huge Friends fan, and now a pretty big Grey's Anatomy fan as well. I'm sure a lot of other people here might be too .. is that weird? Maybe the shows are kind of similar. They both start out with a bunch of people that are new (to the city, or to the hospital world) and how their lives go on from that point on. It revolves around their love lives, work, and family. Isn't that strange?
I'm not sure which one I like more, because I've watched Friends for years and Grey's only for like, one. Is anyone else a fan of both shows, or has anyone else noticed those similarties? It's strange, hmm?
EDIT;
i dont know if they're both very similar.
i'm sure they have more differences than similarities.
Friends is a comedy, Grey's is more of a drama. Watching Friends, you can skip episodes and still laugh at all of their jokes. On Grey's, it would be harder to understand.
i just find it strange the large number of people that watch both shows
