Piano riff - help!
I posted this to the Grey's Music LJ, but no one could help. You've all heard this 4+ note piano riff numerous times in the show, can someone help me identify it? I realize this is a music question, but this community is more responsive, I'm hoping someone will know and respond!
There is a short piano piece that has been played a couple of times in season 2 and already once in season 3. The most notable time is during Meredith's "pick me" speech (link to the scene on You Tube so you can hear it. You'll recognize it from other episodes!).
Does anyone know if it's from a song (which one)? I checked the different episode music guides on ABC, but that didn't lead anywhere since it's never a full song (or a lyrical song), just the notes. If anyone knows where it's from, I'd appreciate the information.
