I doubt this because they just hired on Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play Denny for a eight episode stint to play Izzie's love interest. He was the heart transplant paitent from the previous episode.

Somewhat bizarrely, TV guide also seems to have reported on Chris O'Donnell on February 8th (this also turned up from my search), but it seems to be more a gossipy-type news item.
