Ya know, It never ceases to amaze me how other cultures continue to refer to all American's as yankees. As no good, blue bellied carpet bagging yankees.
I tried to explain it to Lucy the beast, but she wouldn't listen. She's been hanging around euros too long.
Calling all Americans Yankees is like calling all the Germans Nazis.
Or calling all Muslims terrorists.
Or calling all British English.
Or god forbid, calling all Europeans French.
It's a dastardly insult to lump us in with the REAL yankees, those forsaken New England hypocrites, and it's about time the rest of the world got that.
