I'm going to the beach today. It's supposed to be 64 degrees, which means nobody else will be there. There's a minus tide...right about now, actually. Perfect! (I'm just going beachcombing, not swimming. I've been making pendants out of sea glass and wire, so I'm looking for more sea glass. Also frilled dogwinkle shells, because they're pretty and it's fun to say "frilled dogwinkle".)
It dawned on me recently that I think it's going to be very hard for me to move back to a land-locked state if I have to. Seattle has spoiled me.
I have a four day weekend. Thank freaking god.
I'm going to try to henna my hair this afternoon.
Did anybody else see Stephen Colbert fighting a giant irradiated Styrofoam cup on the Colbert Report last night? Because it was awesome. That's how I like my news: absurd.
Now I must go if I want to catch the minus tide. Loff.
