I did laundry in the bathtub today. Hooray for poverty! Oddly enough, I didn't mind it that much. I think it's a weird Alaskan thing, where we like to do stuff that hearkens back to the pioneer days. The cats are thoroughly freaked out, though, because there's drippy laundry hanging all over the bathroom, so they keep going in there to investigate and getting dripped on.
I went on an absolute cleaning rampage yesterday and organized all our financial records, reorganized stuff, etc. We have so much stuff and so little space that by necessity we had to keep stuff in boxes, which was starting to bother me because it looked like we moved in and never unpacked (we still have stuff in boxes, but I have managed to conceal them so it looks a little less chaotic). I get the feeling the apartment would be a lot cleaner and better organized if I took more vacations.
Now I must go because I am eating ramen and Lilith is begging horribly and she'll start walking on the keyboard if I don't leave the computer.
