He looked up at the steps leading to the front door, his hazel eyes almost disappearing in the shadows that his eyebrows caused. "Not really," he told her honestly. "There's going to be a lot of people in there. A lot of static."
She gave him a bit of a look at that, before pushing up and sliding an arm around his neck so she could kiss him warmly. After a moment, she pulled back and gave him a smile. "That answer your question?"
He licked his lips after the kiss, thinking a moment before nodding and smiling. "You have such a way with the unspoken word," he stated, then held out his arm for her to take.
"I know so. However, you have now forced me to be on my best behavior when all I want is to be at my worst." He let the words rumble deep in his chest as he thought of the wicked things he could be doing to her instead of behaving.
