In Which They All Go to the Doctor

Michaela's office was pretty kid friendly. There was a small area in the back of the waiting room for the smaller children with puzzles, books another toys, as well as chairs for the parents, while the larger children tended to gravitate towards the TV in the opposite corner of the room, which was equipped with a Playstation. Yes, they were left at the mercy of whatever game Michaela happened to put in that day, and it was usually a multiplayer game so that multiple kids could get in on it, but it still kept the kids occupied and out of trouble while they were waiting for their turn in the exam rooms.

There was a friendly looking nurse bearing the name tag Rita at the front desk to sign the patients in and out, and to the left of the desk was a hallway that lead to the back exam rooms. Everything was loaded with friendly colors and cartoon characters, making it seem like one of the most friendly places in the world -- at least, she tried to keep it that way, anyway.

Michaela gave a heavy sigh as she made her way back out to the front desk, dropping off one of her files, and looking down at her list of patients for the day. "We're ahead of schedule," she frowned, surprised. "So I guess we're just waiting on the Braedans?"

"That's what it seems like," Rita nodded. "I'll let you know when they get in."

"Thank you," Michaela said with a nod, before disappearing back behind the door again, heading back to her office.
