(no subject)
Something unexpected happened to me recently. It came much like a surprise and shock all at the same time.
After this i kind of got more convinced of this verdict: I cant click with ang mohs, period.
Ive encountered some ang mohs in the past where they would be very friendly to approach me and start small conversations. Just somehow or rather, our frequencies dont seem to tally at all. For example, i met one who asked me randomly on train, " So where you going?" And next he said, " Do you think it will stop raining?". Okay maybe i was pretty shocked that he suddenly talked to me out of the blue that i couldn think properly yet. I didnt quite know how to give him a good nice reply, and all i could come out with was " I dont think so". And then he started talking about other things which i wasnt paying much attention to. I told my friend about it and she was like, " IT IS A VERY GOOD PICK UP LINE WHAT". Really? Maybe he wasnt cute enough lo. Haha. Anyway, that happened quite long ago.
The rest of the encounters made me quite uptight as well. I just couldn talk freely in front of them la. What happened recently just confirmed that though i have always felt that ang mohs are hot and cute, we simply come from two different worlds. Sure he is really cute, that all my other friends keep agreeing so as well. But i cant okay i cant! The thought of drinking and hanging out with them scares the hell out of me already. Plus what happened during lunch made me so angry that my face was so black and i got so quiet throughout the whole meal. In the end, I behaved like an anti social bitch. I cant click la, simply cant.
Oh yea, some talks with my exchange student friend and other friends during projects also made me feel like im sooo cheena. They were sharing on clubbing, making outs and ONS. Wha seh. I haven even been to many clubs in my life to even share what happened in clubs. And i found out that EVERYONE in the group has made out with guys( usually in clubs) and the wilder ones are quite experienced in ONS, and have FWB.The exchange girl started sharing tips on ONS, like for example, to text your friend the address of the guy so that people will at least know where you are. And also, cannot drink till peak of your 'highness' because by the time reach the guy's house will be sober already. Haha she also said 'just give it all out' and have fun. oh my goodness. culture shock. Everyone like so experienced and guess what, im the oldest out of them all!!! They are only like 20-21?
So scary. Whats with the girls nowadays. Are they too influenced by western cultures that their mindset of 'fun' have also slowly becoming like theirs? I cant relate maybe because i still have my own values and principles.
Apart from that, it is quite interesting to learn about their lives though.
