Life Goes On

We've been in the new house since November. Among other things you can see the updates on our BLOG (www.roadschooner.com). We've spent a ton of time and resources getting the acre graveled, irrigated and planted, but it is coming along nicely. During all this fun, I've apparently developed high blood pressure, so we've been having some fun trying to get a handle on it. At least all the other nagging aging issues seem to be OK for now. So, life in general is good! A week ago we started going to the Grand Junction Rockies games. We have season tickets. The GJR are a rookie minor league team for the Colorado Rockies. We get to see young men at the beginning of their professional baseball lives. It's really a lot of fun, but also sad as we say goodbye to almost all of them at the end of the season. There are only 3 return players this season. The others have all either moved up or left the sport. Several are doing very well. We have a great deal of fun at the stadium during home games. As Katie says, "Who knew or ever would have guessed that we'd be minor league baseball fans?" Of course she's right. We go to the games with our cousin Carol, who is also our financial advisor. She's great. Just got the dreaded computer out of battery message, so I'll post this and see ya on the flip side.
