Surgeon

Had some ickies removed from here there and yonder by the surgeon. Only the one from the top of my head was deemed of import to send for a biopsy. Even that one he said was undoubtedly ok. The underarm spots HURT and no damned pain meds. They're getting harder and harder to come by legally. Go in next Tuesday for the biopsy results and another ( Read more... )

www.availablepharmacy.com

probably not in your insurance, but available is the key. That or start an "organic" garden & grow your own meds.

Hope all is well.

To be honest, I was somewhat pleased at the Vicodin/Percocet decision. Putting aside the people who gobble those pills like candy, even people who were taking the the prescribed amounts of these painkillers suffered severe kidney damage from the high acetaminophen dosages (the opiates get you hooked, and the Tylenol kills you. Ugh.) It's had me even rethinking the occasional ExcedrinPM I take when I'm having trouble sleeping.

On the other hand, I've never had my wisdom teeth removed. Kaylyn and I planned on both having it done this summer, but that had to be pushed back because of her driving mess. Now we're looking at surgery this fall at the earliest, and I've this feeling we'll be feeling the pain without any medicinal assistance. Mo might have a good idea up there ;-) Hope you're feeling much better now!!

Speaking of good ideas, could you bring me a beer its hot down here and I have just a bit of a thirst. I'm sure those wussies on the South Lawn in Washington will have some left over tonight.

Seriously, the Bud Light thing is more embarrassing than his mom jeans. Shiner is $8.50 a freaking 6-pack here!!!!! I miss H.E.B. so much it isn't funny. And Spec's too, of course - I still have my little Spec's key on my key ring :-)

I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 at a time and I'm a real wuss when it comes to mouth pain. I nagged the doc til he gave me good ones. It took me 6 weeks to heal up each time, but I had problems with "dry sockets" I'm sure you and Kaylyn won't have the struggle I did because you are both in great shape.

I'm to lazy, don't have the time, don't care about them.. all the above to have the icky's removed from my neck and arm pits. I have a lady Doc. and she did removed a few from my back with that liquid freezing stuff and it just felt like tiny bee stings for a few hours. The ones she took were "all clear" in the biopsy department so I didn't go back cause the rest would just be cosmetic and you know Tom at our age it just doesn't matter to me any more. I come to you warts an all.. :>)

I'm sure yours will come back clean also.. oh yeah.. no meds.. try booze or pot or both hell yer a 60's boy just like me.. go for it Dude!

Cut all mine off - no freezing. Shoot I did the freezin stuff myself and they just came back. Ibuprofin is doing wonders. It's not really painful, just like having a bunch of bee stings without all the swelling.

LOL gave up pot back in 1970, beer in 2004. Might have a dram of Scotch or two though.

It brought a most welcome smile to my face :-) The reason I need my wisdom teeth out is that even after all these years, they're still shuffling around. No matter what my family might say, I don't have a very big mouth. My 4 lower front teeth are starting to rotate sideways due to lack of space.

Advil (plus maybe a wee bit of adman's beer) will probably do the trick for my pain ;-)

Cheers mate..

I had my wisdom teeth out years ago and from what I can recall the after pain was very very low.. can we say lots-O-pain "DRUGS" washed down with huge amounts of anything in the house that read 150 proof or better.. after I came outta the coma a week later all I could say was.. "It didn't hurt at all"

Yes Jamie, I be da man, aka wuss ::nods::
