This chapter was an absolute pleasure to write primarily because of Zola. I wish we would get an adoption moment on the show, but I feel like we might not because the girls who play Zola are still so little and it would be hard to coach them to act in a scene like that. But I can definitely hold out for a park scene! Really, though, at this point, I will take any MDZ I can get. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but we are so short-changed. I'm hoping that with the money storyline mostly wrapped up, that it'll free up some time for some actual MDZ scenes.
I'm glad you liked how I handled the money. I didn't HATE what Shonda did, but my overall issue with the show since the ferry crash has been that it is too flashy--which I guess it has to be to get ratings. But not everything has to be so in-your-face. We don't have to have a shooting and a plane crash in two years. But I digress...
Anyway, I am so excited for baby sister too! I haven't had time to start writing yet, but the next chapter will be almost entirely all about her.
