Wow, thank you so much for your review! I'm doing a lot of research on spina bifida but I do have fears that I'm not getting it right. I'm glad that you, as someone who has spina bifida, are happy with the story so far. It will definitely feature prominently in parts 3 and 4.

It's hard for me to accept what Meredith did, but I don't think it has as much to do with Alzheimer's as it does with Richard's affair with Ellis. I think that she tried to make it right for Adele because of what Ellis did to her life, and she just happened to be able to do that through Alzheimer's. I definitely think she got guilted into it, but what bothers me is that Meredith and Adele are both victims of Richard and Ellis; Meredith doesn't owe their family anything. If anybody needs to "make it right," if that can even happen, it's Richard. Just my opinion, of course!

Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to read and leave feedback! I would absolutely appreciate your thoughts as I continue; I want to make sure that I portray spina bifida and its challenges fairly and accurately.
